Job Description:

About the Role:

The IT Project Analyst role plays a vital role in the evolving Program Excellence team. The incumbent delivers projects on schedule, on budget, within scope and with high quality. This includes acquiring resources, coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors to deliver projects according to plan. Additionally, the IT Project Analyst coordinates efforts to increase Kichler’s Program Excellence maturity.

What You Will Do:

  • Work with IT teams and multi-functional teams to deliver projects on schedule, on budget, within scope and with high quality.

  • Clearly communicate desired project benefits, outputs, dependencies and accountability to team members.

  • Develop detailed project artifacts (project summaries, project delivery plans, weekly status reports, risk management plan, etc.). Prepare Stage Gate presentations and ensure decision making on next steps.

  • Track project activities, achievements and work you are doing; resolve discrepancies and engage project team members to resolve issues.

  • Engage third-party contractors or consultants and assist with scope of work.

  • Assist with improving the maturity of Program Excellence. Suggest and implement improvements for project processes and tools.

  • Suggest, create and update project management training materials. Train employees and communicate the benefits of project management capabilities.

  • Work with portfolio leaders and prepare slide decks for monthly project portfolio reviews.

  • Help develop project management compliance, conduct quality control of processes, tools and data. Follow up with Project Managers throughout the organization to update project tracking details.

  • Develop and improve project dashboards based on feedback from users. Analyze data from different perspectives.

  • Align Kichler’s project/program management methodology to ITIL and industry standards.

What We Look For In A Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business or related field desired.

  • Three (3) years of proven ability in Project Management.

  • Familiarity with IT projects (Infrastructure, Applications, etc.) desired; experience of projects for different areas of the company (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, etc.) is considered a plus.

  • Must possess highly developed interpersonal, communication and presentation skills at all enterprise levels to influence others relative to company objectives.

  • Must demonstrate critical thinking ability. Evaluate multiple data and input types and create fact-based analysis and recommendations.

  • Familiarity with SharePoint lists and Power BI desired.

Salary Range:

Min Range: $44,030.00 USD Annual

Mid Range: $62,900.00 USD Annual

Max Range: $81,770.00 USD Annual
