What you’ll do:
As an IT QA Technical Lead at FACTS SIS, you are instrumental in helping to advocate for automation improvements and improving the processes of our development teams to prevent defects. You’ll serve as a technical expert and provide direct day-to-day guidance and leadership to our talented and motivated development teams. This includes defining quality, efficiency, and development best practices. In addition to having a strong technical aptitude, leadership and communication skills are important in your role.
As an IT QA Technical Lead, a typical day might include:
Mentoring development team members at all levels, helping to set and model desired quality techniques
Responsibility for product or initiative delivery, which includes quality, efficiency and timeliness of work being done
Effectively communicating initiatives/product statuses, working with Product Owner and Team to address stakeholder issues/concerns
Assisting Agile teams in implementing designs for large-scale software projects
Participating in discussions/design of where our systems are today, where we want to take them tomorrow, and how we can best get there.
Minimum 5 years total experience in automated testing
Experience evaluating tooling with the ability to recommend solutions and tooling that meets our current and future automation needs.
Ability to implement and execute multiple forms of testing to cover the entire Software Development Lifecycle
Extensive experience building, maintaining and/or evolving automated testing processes and environments (DevOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Build Tools, Deployment Tools …etc.)
Experience designing and maintaining automated test suites that are suitable and reusable
Strong database knowledge (table design, complex query creation, best practices)
Strong desire to learn, push the envelope, and share knowledge with others
Experience mentoring others and/or leading a significant change within a team
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management to explain complex issues clearly and concisely.

For Colorado Residents: Pay is $120,000-$135,000
