About the role!

As a CBRE Laboratory Coordinator, you will provide support services to facilitate the repair, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory instrumentation.

This position is part of the Service Support team and responsible for the call center. Key requirements are problem-solving, critical thinking, good customer service, effective communication, dependability, time management skills, teamwork, attention to details, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

This role is remote supporting Central and Mountain time zones

What You’ll Do:

  • Handle customer inquiries, schedule service work including repair, preventive maintenance and repair jobs

  • Receive, process and documents purchase order (PO).

  • Schedule laboratory activities with vendors, clients and subcontractors.

  • Review and update preventive maintenance dates

  • Work with staff about services required for installation, maintenance, moves, and relocations.

  • Make sure that equipment is available for staff scientist.

  • Replenish solvents used with laboratory equipment, as needed.

  • Gather documentation for inspection and audit purposes.

  • Follow standardized procedures and practices and receive regular but moderate supervision and guidance.

  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.

  • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.

  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You’ll Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience.

  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.

  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

  • Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Laboratory Coordinator position is $40,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Laboratory Coordinator position is $50,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
