The Role

The Lead IDEAS (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Allyship, Social Impact) Consultant will work to embed the company’s IDEAS strategy into the everyday culture of the organization as a competitive and strategic advantage. This individual will lead and contribute to the development of new processes, initiatives, and methods that will further enable the company’s IDEAS strategy and progress.

Location

  • This is a fully remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S. with preferred locations being Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, Monroe, LA or Orlando, FL as that is where other members of the IDEAS team are based

  • 5-10% travel for conferences, ERG Summit, team office calibrations

The Main Responsibilities

  • Execute on IDEAS initiatives and projects under the direction of the Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer.

  • Provide subject matter expertise in a consultancy role, providing guidance as needed on sensitive diversity topics.

  • Serve as a champion, strategic partner, and thought leader for IDEAS by staying informed of best practices.

  • Help identify gaps and opportunities to improve performance of IDEAS efforts.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Talent Development to attract, develop, and retain a diverse employee base

  • Identify and raise needs for organizational and developmental tools and resources, determine options for securing resources either building internally, leveraging existing programs or buying through external partners.

  • Lead the design and implementation of educational programming (e.g. programs, events, workshops, and dialogues) to raise awareness and competency of employees in support of social, identity, cultural, and global understanding.

  • In partnership with Corporate Communications, write, review, and edit IDEAS content to ensure it is up to date and captivating; ensure alignment with established communications guidelines and brand standards.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • 4+ years experience in Diversity and Inclusion or HR

  • Experience leading cross-functional projects, demonstrating ability to secure successful completion of complex projects.

  • Must have excellent communication (oral and written), analytical, customer service, problem solving and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in project development, project execution and project management

  • Demonstrated experience with process improvement.

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

$80,510 - $107,340 in these states: AR ID KY LA ME MS NE SC SD

$84,740 - $112,980 in these states: AL AZ FL GA IA IN KS MO MT ND NM OH OK PA TN UT VT WI WV WY

$88,980 - $118,630 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI

$93,210 - $124,280 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
