About the role

As a CBRE Learning and Development Program Leader, you will be responsible for program management of the leadership and learning development programs for the account in order to achieve the company's strategic objectives.

This job is part of the Program Management function. They are responsible for the creation and delivery of strategic programs to improve performance on a Life Sciences account.

What you’ll do

  • Build and implement an L and D program focused initially on leadership development for all levels of leadership across the account based on the business and related key outcomes

  • Perform needs assessment for what our 4 levels of leadership are responsible “to do” and what they need “to know”. 4 levels of leadership include – Supervisor, Manager, Site Manager, Director. Focus first on Supervisor/Manager.

  • Employees being developed work within the Facility Management and Project Management functions. Employee population is over 600, across multiple US sites.

  • Build comprehensive LD curriculum and content based on needs assessment for all four levels, passionate about a 70/20/10 model for learning.

  • Conduct learning interventions – coaching, mentoring, classroom training for leaders. Focused interventions where leadership gaps are identified.

  • Build evaluation and measurement tools to allow for selection for key leader roles and to populate succession plans and targeted development plans.

  • Assist in the identification of High Potential talent and creation of development plans for the High Potential Talent.

  • Evaluate changing leadership model required due to account growth and diversity of client/needs.

  • Collaborate with account on Technical training needs

  • Work with key customers to build timelines, goals, and deliverables of the project. Develop recommendations and implement organizational processes and procedures.

  • Review business requirements and other documentation from multiple sources to identify and resolve cross initiative dependencies and ensure consistency of approach.

  • Facilitate the development of a charter and coordinated timeline. Ensure all functions remain on schedule and issues get resolved or called out.

  • Facilitate regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects. Collaborate with the Account Leadership team to develop solutions and manage the project team through implementation and completion.

  • Present routine reports, including status reports and updated Project plans.

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Learning and Development or Instructional Design a plus.

  • Experience working within a Life Sciences business is a plus.

  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training and experience. The compensation range is about $120,000 to $130,000 based on experience. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience.
