The Role

The Lead Solution Architect will leverage their technical and sales skills, including business acumen, to understand business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, and effectively present solutions that address our customers’ requirements and provide business value. This role involves analyzing customer needs and requirements through strategic discovery, utilizing technical thought leadership, discussing industry best practices, and presenting our product offerings to prospects and customers based on each customer's specific business requirements.

Location

This role is designated as a fully remote position within the United States.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Analyze internal business & external partner needs and requirements as they pertain to the divestiture and company separation.

  • Develop and present technical solutions that address divestiture requirements and provide business value.

  • Recommend and implement process solutions to the business, aiming to become a trusted advisor by improving current processes and working cross-functionally within Lumen and with our external partners.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and update existing divestiture processes impacting new install, modify, and disconnect scenarios.

  • Communicate process changes to cross-functional teams through official sales communications channels and/or business unit leads and management.

  • Host meetings and create presentation materials appropriate to the audience from individual contributor level to executive leadership.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 6 years of experience is required

  • Technical skills include:

  • Scaled Agile SAFe certification

  • KAIZEN certification

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required

  • Strong technical and sales skills, including business acumen.

  • Experience in designing and architecting processes aligning to Lumen’s technology and product platforms.

  • Ability to analyze customer needs and develop technical solutions to support Lumen’s internal & external business.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage a variety of questions, issues, and actions from various channels

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. And Confidence to host meetings and create presentation materials for various audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of Lumen’s products like Ethernet, IP, VPN, and Wavelengths.

  • Familiarity with MS Visio or other process mapping software.

  • High-level familiarity with NA/APAC/LATAM/EMEA processes prior to divestiture.

  • Familiarity with Lumen products, systems, and workflow supporting install, modify, renew, and disconnect scenarios.

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$94,420 - $125,890 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.

$99,390 - $132,510 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.

$104,360 - $139,140 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.

$109,330 - $145,770 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
