Platform Process team within Facebook Community Operations plays a critical role in scaling integrity tools and experiences by implementing platform-level solutions across Global Operations. The team partners closely with product, engineering, data analytics and global ops teams and executes on the adoption of existing platform and systems as well as identifying new technologies that create an efficient and scalable workforce experience.This role is for a manager to lead our new Platform Process vertical within Trust and Safety. As a Manager, you will lead a team of systems project managers, work with cross-functional partners (Product Management, Engineering, Policy and other Operations teams) to scope and execute on technology projects. You are a resilient self-starter who is eager to learn, and have experience in defining and executing on strategies. You are collaborative and a proven team leader and influencer with experience in leading both individual contributors and managers. You will work directly with leadership across several strategic areas of the organization such as product, engineering, and operations to implement uncharted ground-breaking technologies across our Global Operations.

Required Skills:

  1. Lead a team of System Project Managers and work with cross-functional partners (Product Management, Engineering, Policy and other Operations teams) to scope and execute technology projects

  2. Establish engagement and support framework to effectively enable team to execute

  3. Partner with product and engineering management to develop future product strategy in a technically and operationally complex space

  4. Establish team goals and work with direct reports on strategies for executing, measuring progress and sharing results

  5. Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to a team of project managers

  6. Work with a global management team to deliver cohesive and coordinated development strategies

  7. Be prepared to directly manage large projects and coordinate across all stakeholders as needed to ensure the right execution, communication and resources are in place to deliver on key milestones

  8. Provide leadership and guidance during escalations and engage with leadership to communicate underlying problems and solutions

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 7+ years of experience working in large-scale operations, domains such as online operations, informational systems, management consulting, process improvements

  2. 3+ years of people management experience

  3. Demonstrated experience influencing across functional boundaries and/or globally

  4. Experience in leading both individual contributors as well as individually leading complex projects

  5. Problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical experience

  6. Experience engaging with senior leaders

  7. Experience defining and executing on operational strategies

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MBA or Master’s Degree

  2. Experience working in technology transformation or implementation

  3. Program management and process-improvement expertise

  4. Experience with SaaS/CRM/Automation
