Please review the following job description:

Responsible for the superior market penetration of Marine and Recreational Vehicle (RV) lending in designated geographic areas nationwide. Maximize loan production volume from existing dealer and broker clients with focus on Bank’s guidelines for quality, profitability and growth. Identify and recruit qualified prospective new dealer and broker clients.

This position is fully remote and required working normal business hours during Pacific Standard Time (for example, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm PST)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  1. Aggressively call on potential and existing Marine and RV dealer and broker clients to develop and grow productivity and profitability in lending and non-lending relationships. Provide high touch personal service and extensive availability to dealer and broker clients and document sales calls in the Salesforce tool weekly.

  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve, maintain and reward existing dealer/broker client relationships.

  3. Meet or exceed production goals for assigned territory.

  4. Utilize existing sales and service reports to gain an understanding of current dealer/broker metrics.

  5. Implement the Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) strategy to existing dealer and broker clients. Work with appropriate banking network personnel to enhance productivity and profitability of the relationship.

  6. Qualify and recruit new dealers and brokers through prospecting efforts. Facilitate new dealer/broker client sign-ups through acquisition of all required documentation (e.g. Dealer Agreements, financial information, operating statements, etc.) and provide personalized onboarding/training.

  7. Monitor competitive market analysis data for assigned territory and report to Marine and RV Senior Management.

  8. Closely monitor dealer and broker relationships to ensure compliance with policies and procedures regarding establishment of a priority lien position on collateral.

  9. Implement educational and/or corrective action where necessary in regards to lien perfection, chargeback and rebate collections.

  10. Monitor peer and industry developments related to economic, legal, business and general market issues impacting lending institutions, dealers, brokers, manufacturers, clients and collateral.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a Business related field, or equivalent education and related training or experience

  2. Five years of experience in Marine and/or RV indirect/direct sales or comparable experience in indirect/direct lending with demonstrated capacity to develop strong client relationships

  3. Demonstrated knowledge of Marine and RV industry

  4. Demonstrated capacity to build profitable client relationships

  5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with peers and clients

  6. Proficient analytical and problem solving ability

  7. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on quality sales presentations

  8. Ability to utilize Microsoft Applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Good knowledge of bank operations, systems, compliance and regulatory issues

  2. Background in Finance and Insurance financing

  3. Completion or enrollment in an established management or career development program such a Leadership Development Program or a Banking School
