Oracle Principal Full-Stack Developer in Topeka, Kansas

Job Description

What you've done:

Analyze, design, develop, fix, and debug software programs for commercial or end-user applications.

Write code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of applications. As a member of the software engineering division, perform detailed design based on provided design or external specifications. Assist in system planning, scheduling, and implementation.

Analyze system specifications and existing business processes and information systems.

Build improvements (including new product features) and resolve bugs.

Build and implement unit tests and unit test plans.

May review integration and regression test plans crafted by QA. Communicate and work well with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure consistency, testability, and portability across products in general.

  • Responsibilities: 10+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience with UI, Java, JavaScript, Microservices, REST APIs

  • 5+ years of experience with any DevOps toolset and Cloud platforms

  • 5+ years of experience with Python and/or Golang

Preferred skills:

Experience in Oracle Redwood Visual Builder tools and JET packs in previous projects.

Experience working in a cloud-native application based on OCI and familiarity with OCI platform services.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex improvements and resolve complex bugs. Build and implement unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.

US: Hiring Range: from $76,100 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
