About the role

As a CBRE Procurement Program Consultant, you will provide support to the Project Construction Management Team on projects from Design through Completion. This role will focus on effective, efficient, and timely utilization of the PJM web-based project systems for Procurement and Construction Bid support, system data integrity, and accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will have proven knowledge of MEP systems, architectural design, and construction methodology.

What you’ll do

  • Coordinate and Track Procurement Orders for MEP equipment with Architects, Vendors, and Project Managers, through web-based systems. This includes coordinating submittals with Architects, RFP administration/ordering with Vendors, and delivery coordination with GCs.

  • Responsible for leading processes, and tools in the delivery of strategic programs.

  • Support RFP/Bid Setup and ensure procurement standards for instructions to bidders, leveling, and GC award are upheld.Post Appropriate Bid Leveling and documents to the database for Closeout Purposes.

  • Monitor Workload, reporting, and overall performance of Vendors including Architects, GCs, and Key Vendors and Material Suppliers.Provide consistent reporting to Construction Project Managers to ensure informed decisions on project assignments can be made.

  • Build and maintain effective Vendor relationships -- ensure consistent, high-level services and communications with client leaders to minimize escalations and drive improvements in client satisfaction.

  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation are accurate, timely, and coordinated. Facilitate Vendor meetings.

  • Demonstrate ability to identify project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.

  • Review business requirements and other documentation from multiple sources to identify and resolve cross-initiative dependencies and ensure consistency.

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.

W hat you’ll need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, or CMM preferred.

  • Retail Construction or Financial/Professional Services Sector experience with experience in the procurement of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing supplies is desired.

  • Minimum of four years of construction project management and methodology, including contractor bidding and estimating.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.Smartsheet or QuickBase experience is beneficial.

  • Knowledge of project management software programs preferred (eg: Kahua, Procore, OVP, Autodesk)

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Procurement Program Consultant position is $95,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Procurement Program Consultant is $110,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
