Overview of Job Function:
The Product Management Director is part of the Engagement Data Management product management team and is responsible for leading the product strategy, product roadmap, and feature requirements for a set of user-facing applications that give end users the ability to both manage and derive business value out of captured voice, video and text communication data. The target user community is across all industries and environments, with key users in contact center operations, communication compliance teams, employee communication administrators, and public safety center operators.
This role will have the responsibility of understanding the market needs by working directly with customers, partners, channels to market, as well as other stakeholders. Internally this role will work with user experience (UX) experts and software engineers throughout development, and work with marketing and sales teams at product launch.

This role is vital to the success of Verint’s overall Customer Engagement solutions and is strongly cross-functional in nature, requiring strong working relationships with multiple teams.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
Identify market opportunities.
Define and manage the definition of product vision and strategy.
Convert the vision to a product roadmap.
Identify new products or enhancements to existing products by understanding and analyzing user needs, Verint’s current product suite and business requirements of internal functions like sales and delivery.
Write specifications, prioritize features, build consensus and coordinate product schedules.
Works closely with highly technical managers and engineering teams to fulfill the product backlog using Scrum/ Agile methodologies.
Create and lead others for mockups, wireframes or POCs.
Gather and incorporate product feedback into subsequent product releases.
Create formal product documentation such as feature sheets and user guides.
Partner with marketing and sales enablement to create sales collateral and training that reinforces offering positioning and messaging.
Drive and deliver enablement for sales, presales, partners and services organizations in support of new offering launches .
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or other business-related degree, or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 12+ years of overall experience in the software industry
Experience in product management defining, managing and building software solutions
Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding product strategy
UI/UX design experience
Experience working within a business-to-business (B2B) software/technology vendor
Demonstrated understanding of the commercial aspects of product and business management
Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks across team boundaries and/or geographically dispersed teams while managing multiple priorities and parallel projects
Strong content creation and presentation skills, with experience presenting to internal and external audiences
Proven ability to work effectively across a large, culturally diverse, and matrixed organization
Strong initiative: self-sufficient; able to identify areas of potential product and documentation improvement; capable of prioritizing and executing tasks to reach the business unit goals
Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
Ability to travel up to 20%, including international travel
Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations
The ability to obtain the necessary credit line required to travel
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in SaaS delivered business solutions.
Wireframe development as part of UI/UX design
Knowledge of contact center operations and related enterprise software solutions
Experience managing big data technology product roadmaps
Use of associated technologies such as Aha, Jira & Confluence
Self-motivated and highly effective in high-energy, customer-focused, deadline driven environment
