Product Manager / Financial Services

Oracle’s Financial Services Analytical Applications team is responsible for the development and marketing of profitability, risk management, fraud, and regulatory compliance analytics applications. Our software is used in over 70% of Global Systemically Important Financial Institutions.

We are looking for an individual with prior Product Management experience in working with financial services organization’s journey to the cloud. You will collaborate with our teams of product developers and fellow product managers who are responsible for a suite of a financial risk and compliance applications. Your goal will be to help understand what they need to ensure their customer’s adoption of our cloud solutions is successful. What services, tools and operational processes will enable our customers to embrace our products and deliver on the value we bring. We wish to transform how the industry does business on the cloud, leveraging the newest technologies and processes.

Role Description

You will be an integral member of the Financial, Risk and Compliance (FRC) Foundation team. FRC Foundation is a set of tools and services Oracle Financial Services products use to support their SaaS solutions.

This PM role will require you to understand the needs of these individual products, turn that knowledge into use cases which can be developed by our team and the drive their adoption once released. Candidates must be able to track, analyze and drive implementation of product updates while ensuring our internal clients understand what we have built, how it will assist them and how they are to adopt these features. Understanding best practices related to SaaS environments and how to support global, financial organizations is critical. Knowledge of financial services solutions is extremely beneficial.

As the Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in defining and driving the evolution of our cloud implementation and support ecosystem. You will be laying down the foundation on which all our financial services solutions sit upon. What you deliver is what our customers see first and because of this, you set the tone of how applications are defined, built and implemented. This include APIs, tools used by customers allowing for self-service implementation and support, and the processes which are necessary for SaaS solutions to be successful. You will work closely with product architects, engineers and QA to ensure what our team delivers is not only powerful but also intuitive and user-friendly.

Qualifications

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in senior B2B product management roles as either an individual contributor or manager.

  • 4+ Years of experience within in the financial services and SaaS industry in a hands on product management role.

  • Technical experience in API design principles, including creating complete and consumer-friendly APIs that drive adoption and integration.

  • Strong background in designing and developing intuitive UI/UX for SaaS tools, with a keen understanding of user behaviors and high standards for usability.

  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with product architects, engineers, and diverse stakeholders.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to inspire and foster a culture of precision and quality in teams.

  • Deep familiarity with agile methodologies and a track record of thriving in agile development environments.

  • Skilled in creating professional presentation materials and delivering impactful presentations to executive leadership teams.

  • Strategic Product Alignment : Collaborate with product architects and engineers to create and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the overarching SaaS product roadmap and business goals, prioritizing features that optimize and streamline financial processes.

  • Roadmap Development and Execution : Develop and maintain detailed near- and long-term roadmaps to guide the growth, adoption, and success of FRC Foundation’s services across the organization.

  • Customer-Centric Tool Development : Partner with customers and internal teams, including consulting and support, to design purpose-built tools. Ensure these tools deliver intuitive functionality, user-friendly interfaces, and personalized experiences tailored to specific user personas.

  • API Leadership : Drive the design, documentation, planning, and successful launch of new APIs tailored to the specialized needs of developers in critical SaaS areas. Ensure these APIs adhere to industry-leading standards for security, reliability, and scalability.

  • UI/UX Advocate : Partner with user experience designers to champion a user-centered design process, delivering intuitive tools that address complex use cases while enabling non-technical business users to seamlessly configure and manage enterprise financial applications.

  • Continuous Improvement and Advocacy : Act as a product evangelist, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance existing APIs and tools based on usage metrics and direct developer feedback. Monitor and analyze our SaaS portfolio to identify opportunities for optimization, measure the impact of delivered solutions, and inform strategic decision-making.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $92,900 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
