  • Manages a portfolio of projects across a product line or service offering.

  • Utilizes project management skills to create and manage workplans, presentation skills, oversight and execution of meeting-related tasks and materials including scheduling, agendas, minutes, task assignment and tracking.

  • Ensures business rules and best practices are followed for all major processes to promote standardization, consistency, compliance, innovation, and industry leading services.

  • Proactively develops strong relationships with the client / stakeholders to ensure client expectations are met / exceeded. Develops leadership staff capacity to develop strong client relationships for smaller clients and contracts.

  • Manages delivery of services, programs, and staff and ensures high quality services.

  • Tracks the progress and performance of programs, services, and staff as assigned.

  • Responsible for leading, managing, coaching, and providing guidance to team members and maintaining positive, effective communication with internal and external management.

  • Assists with the recruitment, management, and retention of staff.

  • Responsible for identifying subcontracting needs and managing subcontracting relationships.

  • Ensures compliance with Local, State, and Federal regulations and contracted performance measures in day-to-day operations.

  • Ensures all program performance metrics are met in achieving stated outcomes.

  • Manages and tracks project budget and invoicing.

  • Identifies trends in compliance issues and business practices.

  • Oversees maintenance of standard operating procedures as appropriate.

  • Contributes meaningfully to practice area-wide development and capacity building efforts.

  • Contributes to industry thought leadership through publications, presentations, attendance at conferences and workgroups.


Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent required, Master’s in Public Health, Business Administration, and/or Social Work preferred.

Experience: 3-5 years of project management experience; proven track record of successfully managing project teams for multiple projects.


· Excellent project management skills including workplan development and maintenance, presentation skills, oversight and execution of meeting-related tasks and materials including scheduling, agendas, minutes, task assignment and tracking.

· Exceptional leadership, management, written and verbal communication skills Knowledge, interest and experience working in health care at either the institutional, system, or county, state, and/or federal level.

· Experience and interest in quality improvement and process improvement, specifically in health/health care.

· Understanding of web-based meeting platforms such as Teams and Zoom to organize and facilitate large meetings and public-facing webinars.

· Ability to engage and develop relationships with multiple agencies and organizations.

· Ability to work across all levels of management and staff, managing down, up, and across.

· Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.

· Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with federal, state, and county agencies as well as the public.

· Ability to work independently, requiring minimal supervision and on multiple projects simultaneously.

· Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
