Responsibilities

This role can be based remotely in the United States, but preference given to local Indiana state residents

Program Schedule Analyst function at the Senior Consultant level within Guidehouse. Program Schedule Analyst are second level non-management consultants that will have responsibility for client management, solution implementation and generation of project results. You will own project workstreams and interact with the client daily to ensure engagement success. This includes supporting day-to-day operational meetings with client sponsors and consulting leaders. Program Schedule Analyst are expected to prepare and communicate well-organized, effective reports and presentations to client and internal executives. You will lead, coach and mentor consultants and ensure quality deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage integrated program schedule, summarizing project-level schedules into an integrated master schedule

  • Identify, track and manage dependencies between projects and with projects external to the program

  • Develop and manage program-level milestone schedule

  • Develop and manage integrated resource plan

  • Drive standardization of project scheduling across the program

  • Perform critical path analysis and identify/present options to resolve critical path issues

  • Critical Path Trade-off analysis

  • Resources scenario analysis

  • Proactively identify risks and issues and analyze impacts as schedule updates are completed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 3-5 years Project or Program Management Office (PMO) working experience in any of the following industries Utilities, DoD construction, DOE construction, Oil & Gas or similar

  • SAP Financial and/or Scheduling experience

  • Exceptional MS Project and/or Primavera skills

  • Exceptional oral and written communications skills

  • Exceptional skills in Power Point, Excel and Visio

  • Strong Communications skills and follow through skills

  • Strong organization, project scheduling and planning skills

  • Ability to work with diverse teams

  • Ability to understand and present project related variances to Senior Management

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment, lead projects and effectively prioritize time and tasks

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and change

Preferred QualificationsIn addition to the above qualifications

  • Master’s degree or MBA

  • Strong experience with Utility Transmissions & Distributions construction project management

  • Systems knowledge of PowerPlan, WMIS, Stakeout for utilities construction planning and development
