Successful candidates will apply themselves to different facets of the project (user interface, API, DevOps, testing, etc.).
Display excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented approach to evaluating requirements.
Participation in daily “standup” phone meetings and weekly video conference calls.
Maintain containerized development environments on GDIT or client-provided hardware.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Engineering, or related discipline
5+ years of experience developing Python code in either Django or Flask web frameworks
Experience working in an Agile software development environment
Excellent communication skills
Experience working directly with customers, end-users, or subject matter experts
Experience in scientific computing or modeling experience
Experience working in a team across multiple/virtual locations
Familiarity with the following technologies:
d3 data visualization library
Web services and APIs
