Job Title: Radiology TechnologistJob Description
Perform high-quality diagnostic procedures and other duties as assigned. Ensure the accuracy of ordered exams and compliance with workflow per guidelines and policy. Calculate appropriate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic quality. Assist Radiologists and other health care practitioners with invasive procedures. Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the exam. Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with regulations and ensure patient and employee safety. Evaluate images for technical quality and exposure.
Responsibilities
Perform high-quality diagnostic procedures.
Ensure the accuracy of ordered exams and compliance with workflow per guidelines and policy.
Calculate appropriate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic quality.
Assist Radiologists and other health care practitioners with invasive procedures.
Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the exam.
Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with regulations and ensure patient and employee safety.
Evaluate images for technical quality and exposure.
Essential Skills
Licensed by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts as a Radiologic Technologist.
Registered by the ARRT.
CPR/BLS Certification.
Associate or Bachelor degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous radiology experience.
Work Environment
8 hour shift, start time could be as early as 7am depending on procedures. Typical hours are from 7:30am to 4:00pm. Employees are paid every 80 hours.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65312.00 - $74880.00
