What you’ll be doing....
The Global Services Operations team within Tableau, a Salesforce company, is looking for an energetic, customer-focused Services Analyst to join our team of analysts responsible for coordinating Professional Services engagements. You will be the primary point of contact for customers and will be an integral part of ensuring our customers receive value from their services engagement. You will confirm engagement details with customers, coordinate the assignment of resources, and ensure successful delivery.
Some of the things you’ll be doing include…
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Quickly and effectively coordinate the kickoff of newly signed engagements
Effectively manage and drive success across a portfolio of projects and become a trusted advisor to the business
Monitor and measure project timelines and identify solutions to drive efficiencies and overall project success.
Proactively manage backlog of existing engagements
Independently manage internal and external customer issues with responsibility for overall customer satisfaction and success. Proactively reach out to customers based on their specific needs.
Build relationships with services sales and delivery team members to ensure a cohesive experience for customers
Oversee the approval and signature of project contracts such as SOWs and Change Requests
Maintain and project a solid understanding of all Tableau product lines and corporate messaging
Be an advocate for Tableau Services products and capabilities within the broader Salesforce organization
Work cross-functionally to improve processes, contributing to the success of team members.
Proactively analyze parts of the services business using Tableau products
Who you are…
Experienced . A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a customer facing, resource management or project manager role within the professional services sector and experience in a fast paced, corporate environment. Previous experience in the tech/software space and/or sales environment would be ideal.
Technical . Strong technical and analytical skills. Prior experience with Tableau products preferred.
Team Player . You’re the best at what you do and know how to work with your colleagues to get their best. Develops relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to influence without authority.
Excellent Communication . You know what to say and more importantly, how to say it. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Proven track record of success in a customer facing environment.
Organized. Being super organized is in your DNA. You are detail-oriented, you follow through on commitments, and you go the extra mile for customers. Strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on the needs of the business/customer.
