Acxiom LLC Sales Innovation and Business Growth Director - REMOTE in Topeka, Kansas

The Innovation Lead, as a member of the Sales and Delivery Industry Senior Management team is responsible for the development, organization, and execution of strategic initiatives to grow and transform the overall business. Partnering closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams within across all verticals, the Innovation Lead helps drive key initiatives and continuous process improvement throughout all aspects of the business and ensures that Acxiom complex and evolving business runs smoothly. As part of the Senior Management team, the Innovation Lead will play a key role in the growth agenda by leading key projects and initiatives as well as managing certain ongoing business needs. The role offers a high level of visibility into business strategy.

Key Deliverables:

  • Develop a close working relationship with the CCO such that this role can serve as its’ proxy in key business meetings

  • Responsible for implementing strategic projects to support business growth, team effectiveness, and customer satisfaction

  • Provide senior-level management and oversight for key programs and initiatives, as well as all activities/deliverables in scope for growth of the business

  • Possess a strong sense of project-management rigor, leadership, organization, and communication with the ability to accommodate frequently changing strategies and decisions proactively and reactively

  • Innovation Enablement

  • Help define product business vision for technology innovation needed in order to drive step function growth, efficiencies and effectiveness in the business innovation process

  • Play an active role in development and implementation of tools and resources to improve productivity across all sales, support, management, and business support

  • Bridge business and technical teams by being fluent in the language of consulting (business drivers, process, and technology

  • Engage the business, acting as a point of contact for cross-functional collaboration; coach the cross-functional project team on the business perspective and strategic imperatives to inform key project decisions.

  • Work with Sales, Technology, Data Analytics, Delivery, Product and Marketing, business pain points / hot spots – recommend remediation for each.

  • Develop the cross-functional plan and direct cross-organizational teams through project lifecycle from ideation to project execution and implementation

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and executive communications when project risks and issues arise

  • Drive change management and team-member readiness for key initiatives

  • Integrate and implement business transformational initiatives for the Sales & Delivery Organization.

  • Recommend and prioritize tactical and strategic projects to deliver ongoing sustainable business

Qualification & Key Competencies/skills:

  • Master’s in management/MBA and Graduation, preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of management experience and 10 years of relevant experience (strategy development, program management, change management, project management)

  • Independent self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities and produce successful results in a fast-paced environment

  • Critical thinking ability: can understand all the information available, tie it all together, and speak to it clearly and concisely

  • Established track record of delivery in a complex environment

  • Ability to partner across functional teams and interact with all levels of the organization

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills

  • Highly organized and detail oriented

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information in differing degrees of detail and form depending on the audience

  • Proven work experience influencing others (change management) to initiate a recommended course of action to solve a problem or increase efficiency

  • Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail with excellent organization skills.
