*Valvoline Global Operations Headquarters is located in Lexington, KY. We are open to candidates working in a remote capacity in other states, but willing to visit HQs as needed.

How You’ll Make an Impact

The Salesforce Product Owner II, working hand in hand with stakeholders, partners, and the digital IT team to lead the development and delivery of high-quality products that meet both user needs and business objectives. Manages and executes digital priorities to bring a regional roadmap to market that increase customer satisfaction, user experience and revenue growth. Supports the integration design based on business needs and best practices and makes recommendation while evaluating impacts.

In the role, you would be responsible for:

  • Supporting the execution of regional product features, serves as the conduit between the business and IT for product development for mid-sized projects through the Agile methodology. Leading the development of a product from discovery phase to release to the users, optimizing it at every release. Provide regular reporting and steering committee updates including product scope, schedule and planning.

  • Owns regional prioritized sprint backlog for the Customer Experience product portfolio. Gathers business requirements in order to write user stories that align to the features and ensure the regional sprint backlog stays full and is prioritized. Develops user stories from prioritized features, identifies acceptance criteria for user stories, approves each user story during the sprint and ensures that user stories meet the acceptance criteria and are updated in the system. Collaborates with project teams, between functions and with management to resolve issues. Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path activities. Takes ownership of escalated issues, risks, challenges and proactively works to resolve. Works with other digital and IT teams on joint user stories.

  • Working alongside the Senior Product Owner and Senior Leadership, providing input to a multi-year vision and yearly roadmap based on customer feedback, corporate strategy, and data. Provides regional priorities and guidance to executive leadership for the overall plan, roadmap, and vision by understanding the impact and business case of the product to the customer lifetime value.

  • Consultant for defining the business processes for product portfolio regional features. Ensures that business processes are development and defined for delivered features both current and future state. Advises the digital lead to understand the change impact to stakeholders.

  • Works with the Senior Product owner and leadership team to understand product KPI’s to drive revenue growth, customer satisfaction and increase adoption. By making data driven decisions, iterates on features to enhance user satisfaction. Identifies areas for improvement and optimization that drive the maximum value for the business objectives.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, technology, engineering, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Minimum six years of experience in Product Owner, Business Analyst, IT, or related experience

  • Minimum six years of agile development, strategic, cross project coordination to ensure for effective use of corporate resources.

  • Product management of large web, e-commerce or Salesforce projects

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

What Will Set You Apart

  • 5+ years of Salesforce experience (i.e. Sales Cloud and Service Cloud)

  • 3+ years of website development experience (for the business)

  • Scrum Master or equivalent certification.

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner or equivalent certification

  • Agile project management or equivalent certification
