The Manager, School Operations provides across the board operational support to managed schools within the virtual school program to contribute to the overall goal of providing excellent service to schools and their clients. Each manager is responsible for leading specific operational areas based on the breadth and level of support needed for the suite of tools, school operations functions, and reporting. Managers are responsible for interfacing with corporate and school business partners on behalf of the operations team and providing regular updates to the team on their areas of responsibility.

The Manager, School Operations is part of the national operations team and provides support for our schools with an emphasis on compliance activity at all levels, internal and external to the Stride organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, Duties, and Responsibilities:

  • Provides operational support to the managed virtual school programs
  • Provides training and troubleshooting on systems used for operational management of schools
  • Assists in continued operations process improvements
  • Ensures reports and data requests within the individual\'s assigned areas are resolved in a timely manner
  • Participates in responsibilities related to school and corporate compliancy requirements
  • Assists in operational data analysis and report compilation
  • Helps create, maintain, and disseminate operational information
  • Leads areas of responsibility on behalf of the school services operations team
  • Interfaces with internal and external stakeholders as needed to ensure areas of responsibility are successful
  • Manages team members required to support areas of responsibility
  • Proactively seeks out opportunities to provide operational support that contributes to providing excellent service to the schools and their clients

This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

:

  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Administration or related field of study AND
  • Five (5) years of school operations experience OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates and Licenses: None required.

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Great organizational and time management skills
  • Strong technology skills
  • Experience using search engines (internet) for research projects
  • Experience using a student information system and/or other type of database
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • MS 365; Web proficiency.
  • Ability to travel 5% of the time
  • Ability to clear required background check

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

:

  • Formal project management experien e in fast-paced or start-up environment
  • Non-profit / education grants management experience
  • Experience with managing online learning

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person\'s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position\'s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee\'s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position\'s level and expected contribution, and the employee\'s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.

  • We anticipate the salary range to be \$77,106.40 to \$96,383.00. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual\'s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
