Primary Function

Our client is currently searching for a Freelance Selects Editor to work with our Los Angeles studio location. This Freelance Selects Editor position would be working with an athletic apparel brand that shoots in studio still-life and on-model ecommerce photography. The position requires flexibility to work in studio and remotely during shoot hours (9:00am – 6:00pm). Successful candidates must have a photography/creative background, a keen eye, and the ability to work independently as well as a part of a team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Make selects, crops and retouching notes on daily output of PDP images adhering to a provided editing guide.

  • Correspond daily with Producers and on set team about rush and priority image editing need. Must be available to work remotely and/or in as needed during shoot hours to finalize.

  • Intake feedback from Creative Leadership (Creative Directors, Art Directors, Stylists, Photographers) about new editing and creative guidelines and ingest into workflow.

  • Be available to be on-set for high-touch shoots to work in tandem with the Art Director in consolidating the initial body of work.

  • Perform other duties as requested by Creative Leadership

  • Responsible for oversight

Skills & Qualifications

  • Able to follow clear guidelines and direction to consistently deliver quality-controlled results for high volume content output

  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritize/multi-task and follow projects through to completion

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Education & Experience

  • 1-2 Years of experiences in a photo/creative environment, familiarity with commercial photography studio or related business
