The Role

The Sr Lead Sustainment Manager is responsible for leading the post-deployment plans and activities for moderate to highly complex projects/programs across Mass Markets. The goal of the Sustainment process is to provide a coordinated transition bridge from project launch to a business as usual support model. These projects cross multiple work groups and lines of business, i.e., Sales, Care, Repair, Credit & Collections, and have considerable impact on Mass Markets employees and customers. The Sr. Lead Sustainment Manager may be responsible for multiple concurrent projects.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Provide reporting and tracking of key project health metrics to leadership, stakeholders, and end users.

  • Partner with project managers to define project-specific post launch sustainment entrance criteria.

  • Use critical thinking skills to conduct root cause analysis.

  • Drive resolution of process, training and/or system issues or gaps.

  • Provide recommendations for process improvements and enhancements and new automation solutions.

  • Focus on fallout reduction and partner with key stakeholders and IT to increase order flow-through and reduce/eliminate manual order touches.

  • Conduct status meetings with stakeholders.

  • Identify and coordinate resource needs across multiple Mass Markets departments and lines of business; and prioritize those needs for IT.

  • Build/maintain business relationships across all organizations within the company; ability to work at all levels of leadership.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and clients in a time sensitive environment.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Qualifications & Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and 8+ years related experience.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, and Word

  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)

  • Excellent analytical and presentation development/delivery skills


  • Working knowledge of the Mass Markets products and procedures

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and automation tools

  • Working knowledge of Agile processes, User Story creation and JIRA

  • Working knowledge of lean methodology

  • Completion of formal externally recognized project certification requirements (e.g. PMI, PMP) or a minimum of 5 years of significant project management experience

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
