The Role

The focus of this role is major strategic project ownership for multiple large organizations, including Enterprise Ops/Custom Networks, STEPM, and Mass Markets.

Location

This is a remote opportunity open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Facilitates training for all levels of employees on complex methodologies, systems, products, and/or critical topics for success.

  • Coaching and development of leaders and individual contributors with the ability to influence change.

  • Offers recommendations to all levels of leadership on effective coaching strategies, skills/techniques and tactics targeted at individuals, teams, and/or larger groups.

  • Consistently demonstrate, apply, and share subject matter expertise and trends in coaching, facilitation, communication, measurement orientation and change management as you work with clients and peer groups.

  • Role model talent development behaviors and skills, lead by example and provide coaching via observation and one-on-one coaching. Thought leader and trusted advisor.

  • Applies instructional design knowledge to proactively identify learning gaps, create strategies, and define business outcomes to improve skills, change behaviors and impact results.

  • Continuously measures progress toward objectives for a more disciplined approach and refine the resultant performance and outcomes.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Conceptualizes future learning strategies by providing actionable recommendations, roadmaps and longer-term strategic plans to leaders.

  • Proactively identifies problem areas, trends, and works with teams across HR and the business to develop and implement solution.

  • Lead and support HR critical initiatives, representing TD and providing performance outcome insights and innovation.

  • Drives implementation of large scale, complex initiatives leveraging resources across TD and HR to accomplish key goals.

  • Applies business acumen to assess the environment for the purpose of business process improvement based on customer and industry knowledge and key metrics.

  • Collaborate with Talent Development leaders, HR and business unit leaders to create and implement strategic plans and initiatives.

  • Demonstrate Lumen North Star Core Operating Principles and Beliefs including teamwork, trust, transparency, clarity, customer obsession, courage, growth mindset, and allyship.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.

  • 8+ years of related experience.

  • Displays advanced skills in effectively conducting training with a high level of engagement in the following forums: one-on-one, classroom or virtual learning environments.

  • Demonstrates advanced presentation, facilitation, communication, and project management skills.

  • Shows proven track record of using training, coaching and other adult learning techniques to change behavior and achieve performance outcomes.

  • Demonstrates extensive experience applying effective coaching techniques to drive business outcomes

  • Consistently supports corporate strategic objectives and key initiatives.

  • Analyzes data in-depth and develop solutions based on outcomes.

Additional Qualifications

  • Effectively collaborates with, utilize and leverage effectively other departments, organizations, and vendors.

  • Shows thorough understanding of client processes and procedures

  • Displays leadership in various situations and considered an effective leader.

  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, projects, and deliverable commitments.

  • Tech savvy -- speaks with technical people and translates consulting feedback into training/development

  • Familiarity of Lumen’s Products and Services.

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Location Based Pay Ranges:

$103,711 - $138,281 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.

$108,896 - $145,195 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.

$114,082 - $152,109 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
