Oracle Senior Learning Product Owner in Topeka, Kansas

Summary

The Senior Learning Product Owner is responsible for setting the production standards for a learning design and development team that supports large-scale federal clients. The learning team maintains a large catalog of highly available learning assets including a master catalog, learning program definitions and descriptions, classroom courses, online courses, job aids, videos, governance documents, etc. This role ensures that the maintenance requirements definition and asset production processes are efficient, effective, and well-managed. This role ensures the master catalog, master program list, and role-to-curriculum mapping stay in sync with the client's learning management system. This role is client facing and is responsible for reporting to the client on a regular basis on the health and productivity of the content maintenance activity. The Senior Learning Product Owner is a thought leader, expert, and influencer on the learning team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging instructional materials, including eLearning modules, multimedia content, and instructor-led training.

  • Support the implementation of a large, highly-available learning asset catalog (1500 assets) designed to prepare users to go live with an enterprise electronic health record solution.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between instructional design teams, product management, and stakeholders to define, develop, and deliver training products.

  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for instructional design initiatives, from ideation and conceptualization to execution and continuous improvement.

  • Develop and maintain a product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and client needs.

  • Translate stakeholder requirements into clear, actionable tasks for the design and development teams, utilizing Agile or other iterative methodologies.

  • Facilitate collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify learning objectives and ensure content aligns with client expectations.

  • Monitor and evaluate product performance and user feedback, using data to inform product enhancements and drive continuous improvement.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, including instructional designers, multimedia specialists, and technical developers.

  • Stay current on trends in instructional design, learning technologies, and educational best practices to ensure innovative and competitive learning products.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years related work experience.

  • Working knowledge of JIRA, Sharepoint, and Excel.

  • Experience with accessibility standards and guidelines, including WCAG 2.0 to ensure all learning content is inclusive and accessible to all users.

  • Excellent organization and time management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience in face-to-face customer service.

  • Experience leading multiple, simultaneous, high-profile projects.

  • Experience reading and executing performance work statements.

  • Experience working on Federal contracts a plus.

  • Experience with healthcare information technology a plus.

  • Expertise in instructional design, ELearning development and content creation.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $86,900 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
