Akima Site Lead / UH-60 Phase Maintenance in Topeka, Kansas
Aviation Readiness Support (ARS) is seeking a Site Lead with extensive UH-60 maintenance and tested supervisory experience who will be the ARS representative on site for our employees and other teammates. Responsibilities
Manages site activities.
Manages the execution of UH-60 phase maintenance to ensure that projects are completed in a safe and timely manner.
Administrates operations and activities to detect unsafe conditions or actions and takes action to correct them.
Meets with the project manager regularly to ensure deadlines are being met.
Ensures all work complies with company and government regulations.
Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles.
Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions.
Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies.
The candidate will be responsible for communicating requirements, mitigating risks, and communicating effectively with staff, teammates, and corporate resources.
The candidate will be responsible for performance management, financial management, and employee morale initiatives.
The candidate will provide analytical and technical support to projects involving training, tactical/operational documentation, military systems design or other efforts requiring military operations expertise.
The candidate must be able to research, identify, and make recommendations about resources required for task execution and completion.
The candidate must also gather, process, and analyze operational data.
The candidate must Identify and recommend emergent relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes.
Qualifications
UH-60 Maintenance supervisory experience with phase maintenance required.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Preferred qualification of bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of applicable experience, or a High School Diploma and 9 years experience.
Preferred former US Army Aviation Senior NCO.
