Intel SOC Lead Design Engineer in Topeka, Kansas

Job Description

This is a highly visible lead role responsible for integration of complex FPGA devices. Candidate will participate in architectural definition and integration of FPGA products, collaborating across cross-functional teams. They will oversee definition, design, verification, and documentation for SoC (System on a Chip) development. The right candidate determines architecture design, logic design, and system simulation and defines module interfaces/formats for simulation. They will perform Logic design for integration of cell libraries, functional units and subsystems into SoC full chip designs, Register Transfer Level coding, and simulation for SoCs. The right candidate performs all aspects of the SoC design flow from highlevel design to synthesis, timing and power.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in EE with 8+ years of industry experience.

  • Experience with FE design/integration flows and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of SOC/IP ownership from concept to silicon.

  • Experience with driving front end integration of complex SOCs.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
