Position:

We are looking for a Software Quality Engineer to join a team building the next generation of a growing healthcare medical imaging platform. Our team is looking to add members looking to take ownership delivering stable feature functionality our community requires. We’re looking for you if you’re comfortable working in a collaborative environment where everyone takes responsibility for success in every aspect of our product’s delivery. We build incrementally, deliver by validation, enable through a culture of DevOps.

You’ll have a passion for the highest quality results, continuously looking to improve outcomes by enhancing processes and highlighting opportunities. You’ll work in collaboration with minimal supervision, adopting Agile process to prioritize, pick up, and complete work. You’ll share ideas and team up to deliver new and creative ways to solve problems.

  • Plan, design , execute, development, deployment, and operation to ensure the quality for cloud-based services.

  • Review and analyze requirements, specifications and other information pertaining to the product being developed and provide risk assessment and other meaningful feedback

  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases

  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, coordinate, and perform various testing activities.

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot systems as part of product development and sustaining verifications.

  • Author efficient, automatable, maintainable test cases and suites and consistently maintain them.

  • Execute various types of testing thoroughly with the goal of finding or preventing bugs as early in the development process as possible.

  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track defects. Improve testing approach and test cases, learning for the escaped defect to prevent and minimize such issues in the future.

  • Take ownership and deliver result for various projects, mentor junior engineers or temporary contractors to achieve the desired quality results.

  • Adhere to various internal processes and procedures to comply with applicable regulations, including FDA and ISO 13485, HIPAA, ISO 14971 Risk Management, and ISO 27001 standards.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience and expertise in testing life-critical software

  • 5 years of experience in writing clear, concise, efficient yet comprehensive test plans and test cases

  • 5 years of experience in cloud-based software infrastructure and environments (GCP, Azure, AWS)

  • 5 years of experience or exposures to continuous integration, DevOps processes, and tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience of Hospital PACS technology and other radiology systems

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

  • Working knowledge of medical image/large data transfer methods such as DICOM, HL7, DICOM Web, HTML

  • Experience with performance and/or security testing

  • Detailed oriented and analytical personality required

  • Telecommute/work from your home, with occasional travel may be needed.

  • Reliable high-speed internet with a minimum of 10mbps upload and 50mbps download speed will be required.

New York and New Jersey Residents Only: The salary range for New York City, NY and Westchester County, NY is $77,280 - $134,400. The salary range for Ithaca, NY is $67,200– $112,000. The salary range for Jersey City, NJ is $80,640 – $134,400. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Change Healthcare offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
