Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.
Manages and directs a staff of solution specialists and/or managers in providing specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales territory. Establishes and communicates departmental objectives and implements plans to ensure attainment of business objectives. Works closely with sales management to ensure proper utilization of resources and provides justification for additional resource requests. Oversees the Interaction with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Develops forecasts. Participates in industry/product functions, seminars and round tables to remain up to date on industry or product knowledge. May deliver presentations/solutions to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations is important.

We work with customers to help them achieve their business goals and desired business-outcomes through a comprehensive set of cloud and on-premise Infrastructure integration services, connecting application and data source to automate end-to-end business processes and centralize management.
As an Analytics Solutions Leader you will be regarded as a sales authority within our enterprise sales organization, working with our most meaningful, strategic, high-growth customers. You will collaborate with Sales leaders, and a team of technical, product, partner, and supporting resources to develop and advance the sales process, and exceed quarterly Integration revenue targets in your assigned accounts.

What You’ll Do
Solution Specialist Leaders lead their team to support the sales process and outcomes for strategic Analytics opportunities, both Cloud and On-Premise.
Work in partnership with leadership, field account teams, business development, cloud engineering, industry architects, and horizontally across the Oracle technology ecosystem to lead the pursuit & capture of Oracle Integration deals
Support and help lead the account team through the analytics solution sales process from initial planning, strategic targeting, deal origination, building trust and credibility, negotiation, through closure.
This role will set the Analytics deal direction, own the pursuit strategy, assign roles, manage quality of work, and be accountable to the overall revenue and cost objectives of Oracle’s Analytics solution specialists.
Identify key Analytics and Data-Management decision makers at targeted accounts and deeply understand their decision-making process and executive influencers
Primary influencer to modeling the investment business case, adoption frameworks and business outcomes to build and execute the winning strategies
Develops executive and senior management relationships, being viewed as a "trusted advisor” for Integration within targeted pursuits and internal Oracle partners
Defines and influences approval on financial and commercial structures balancing Oracle’s Analytics solutions current and future capabilities, customer requests, partners, competition, market demand, and business outcomes
Be a change-agent, game-changer, and collaborator to mobilize ”one oracle”

Minimum of 15+ years successful experience in developing Analytics solution deals, leading the supporting sales cycle, and working across internal Business Units to drive successful outcomes
Must be a validated deal maker leading & closing transactions
Strong vertical knowledge with a demonstrated understanding of key Integration use-cases, buying patterns and business motivators is strongly preferred
Understands how to navigate and influence sophisticated internal processes and teams to nurture non-standard deal structures
Exudes strong technical aptitude in the areas of Analytics to gain credibility with Oracle sales and engineering partners
Possesses a knowledge of the Oracle technology stack and OCI, and a deep understanding of the competitor landscape will be critical for success in this role
Demonstrable C-level collaboration, presentation experience, and rolodex is helpful
Thoroughly understands the economics and adoption patterns of cloud transformation, the associated delivery models, and trends to influence and anticipate change
Must be an innovative and structured problem solver who can help steer product requirements, business models, marketing strategies, and commercial structures to effectively respond to opportunities
Ideal candidates will come from similar roles in a major solutions competitor.
