The Role

Responsible for managing business development activities of Lumen Digital Security Specialized Sales & Architecture teams that lead to the expansion and growth of Lumen’s comprehensive suite of Security and SASE services product portfolio. This leader will be accountable for the coordination, alignment and execution against key strategic initiatives that are aligned with the Enterprise Segments growth sales & revenue objectives. Influence and developing a commercial execution framework on to Sales Director led teams, supporting key account(s). Responsible for the overall development and implementation of the account plans.

Identifies and develops Security services portfolio product sales opportunities (SASE, DDoS Mitigation, Threat Intelligence, Professional Services, and other Security services as developed), provides product solutions, ensures customer satisfaction, and maintains positive ongoing relationships to maximize sales for the company. Introduces company products and services to new and/or existing customers. Responsible for the implementation of strategic and tactical sales account plans. Develops and maintains accurate sales and/or revenue forecasts and management of quota funnels.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and support sales of company's managed services, business services, business software and/or any outsourced solution

  • Accountable for meeting and/or exceeding assigned sales objectives and monthly revenue quotas, maintain existing and build new revenue within a designated region.

  • Provide superior technology and solution knowledge of managed services on a day to day basis.

  • Build and maintain accurate and up to date strategic account plans associated with regional managed services sales opportunities.

  • Partner with Lumen account managers and customers through a strategic and consultative sales approach to understand their business needs, issues, strategies and priorities to deliver a value-adding managed services solution.

  • Manage sales funnel to analyze and manage pipeline activity and monitor sales activity against assigned quotas.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in selling complex IT infrastructure solutions to medium and enterprise businesses.

  • Demonstrated success in applying consultative selling techniques to opportunities.

  • Proven and verifiable track record in exceeding sales quotas.

  • Strong communication skills and presence in communicating with Executives.

  • Technical sales certifications (VCP, Cisco, etc.)

  • Consultative or solutions selling training

  • Demonstrated level of success in the development of high level client relationships

  • Demonstrated experience selling a combination of the following strongly preferred: Cloud Computing Services, Managed Hosting, Managed Security, Cloud Solutions (IaaS), Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery, IT Infrastructure Services/Outsourcing, IT Consulting, Outsourcing services, Co-location

  • Must be self-motivated and self-disciplined and provide prompt follow-up to all customer inquiries.

  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to present in both small and large group settings.

  • Must have a polished, professional presentation.

  • Must be able to keep organized, accurate records on daily activities and results.

  • Strong organizational skills imperative.

  • Acquire and integrate industry knowledge related to general trends, emerging technologies, and competitors.

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$173,649.00 - $231,525.00 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY

$182,333.00 - $243,107.00 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI

$191,016.00 - $254,678.00 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
