What Account Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Customer Service is responsible for establishing, maintaining and enhancing customer business through contract administration, customer orders, and problem resolution.
Account Management is responsible for cultivating and maintaining on-going customer relationships with an assigned set of customers. Provides new and existing customers with the best possible service and recommendations in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, improvements to internal and external processes, and other areas of opportunity. Provides product service information to customers and identifies upselling opportunities to maintain and increase income streams from customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Effectively manage and maintain the following Strategic Relationships and their customers: HouseRx, IIS, Leader’s Rheum, and managing the WEST Region. This position holds dual functions from an inside role resolving all account-related issues and also an outside role managing account renewals and deal models while involved in new business calls/pitches for potential new onboards.
Problem Solving (toggling between 2 sometimes 3 Cardinal channels- SPD, Metro and PD)- working with internal teams/creating calls to resolve the following: Implementations, contacting Credit for payment term changes or add’l onboarding needs.
Deal Modeling for new ideas for new potential one-off bids, being support for our customer and our Finance Teams including Customer Service while confirming with Contracts for customer drug eligibility or alignment.
Support through weekly purchase reports to HouseRx, IIS, Leader’s Rheum and WEST Region customers including customer account questions (contract alignment, Credit compliant confirmation, pricing, reimbursement or rebate information
Qualifications
Ability to understand distribution and the complexities of in-house and third-party GPOs
Proficiency in Data Analytics , Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote), Microsoft Teams
Excellent communication skills both written and oral.

Anticipated pay range: $56,200 – $80,400
