Job Description

The Intel Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) is looking for talented, highly motivated candidates to work intimately with our Embedded Acceleration Division (EAD) technology group to drive FPGA based requirements for our next generation product/platform solutions. Working alongside Intel processors, the FPGA delivers a highly efficient, flexible, and scalable platform to solve our customer's needs. Candidate needs to have an entrepreneurial mindset where they can work in a fast paced environment across a matrixed organization with an independent thought process.

As a part of the EAD technology group you will work and collaborate in a dynamic learning environment alongside industry experts across various segments within EAD (industrial and automotive, military, aerospace and government analytics, video and vision, test and measurement, medical, consumer, and emulation and prototyping) to define our next generation products/system through a mix across establishing business and technical requirements/forecasts. In addition, the candidate will collaborate with other groups within Intel (NEX, DCAI, AXG, and CCG) to drive synergistic activities and market expansion within the EAD group.

The successful candidate will have a proven capability to work within the team and efficiently map systems to FPGA based products/platforms, drive embedded S/W, I/P, and tool requirements for the next generation products/platforms.

The successful candidate will gain immediate visibility of the impact of their work and directly drive our next generation product roadmap and solutions.


  • Bachelors or Master's Degree in EE/EECS, CS, and/or telecommunications with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience.

  • Working experience in semiconductor or high-tech industry, preferably in FPGA, ASIC, GPU, SoC, networking, etc.

  • A Strategic thinker with proven track record of delivering product, business, and/or marketing innovation.

  • Market segment experience in Embedded/Edge computing and networking.

  • Knowledge and/or experience in rich operating systems (Linux etc.), embedded operating systems, firmware development, embedded SW tool, and flow development.

  • Knowledge and/or experience in networking industry with a good understanding of network layer model architecture, networking, and application security.

  • Communication and interpersonal skills are a must as this position requires interaction at multiple levels within Intel and across a variety of job functions.

  • Post-graduate degree is a plus (MSEE, MSCS, MBA, PhD, or similar).

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
