Facebook is looking to hire a Program Manager to join our Strategy & Operations (S&O) Optimization team. S&O is a part of the Scaled Operations (SO) organization within Global Operations (GO). GOs mission is to build and run world-class processes at a global scale that minimize harm to people and society, while maximizing the success and well-being of FB’s ecosystem. SO serves communities and businesses globally by building world-class capabilities for GO and enabling the industry’s most balanced workforce. S&O is a global horizontal team within SO, which supports and enables the success of SO and GO by driving business critical initiatives through program excellence, thought partnership, stakeholder collaboration, and effective change management. In particular, this role will join the Optimization team within S&O, which focuses on making SO more agile and stronger together through: Driving partnerships and integrations cross-functionally with GO teams Building, optimizing, and documenting solutions and processes for SO Increasing SO-wide engagement.We are looking for a program manager to drive portfolios of complex and cross functional initiatives through organizational design, communications, framework development, thought partnership, business readiness and cultural and change transformation.

Required Skills:

  1. Develop an enterprise level view of technology and business processes

  2. Leverage critical thinking, program/project management, business acumen, & communication skills to drive impactful change in our organization

  3. Develop institutional knowledge of content moderation

  4. Bridge the gap between technical and business teams using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders

  5. Identify the processes needed to implement your recommendations

  6. Drive communications strategy for the initiatives, qualitative and quantitative analysis of the program performance and track/ensure program and industry impact

  7. Program manage critical strategic initiatives identified by the SO leadership team

  8. Frame and scope the problem statement, build requirements, enable resourcing, work with cross-functional stakeholders (including leadership), identify dependencies, reduce risks and drive the portfolio progress

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. General business acumen, such as project and program management skills

  2. Communications and presentation skills

  3. Interpersonal and consultative skills

  4. Experience taking complex and ambiguous information/data and distilling them into meaningful action plans

  5. BA/BS/BBS or equivalent

  6. 5+ years of experience in program management/project management, consulting, operations, or a combination of these

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MBA, graduate level degree, or equivalent

  2. Data visualization experience (ex. Tableau, etc.)

  3. SQL experience
