Supply Chain Tech – Manufacturing Tech – Senior

The opportunity

Work in a rapidly expanding client environment to delivery integrated equipment and systems in support of the larger EBR transformation goals. Daily activities include leading and managing data integration projects, conducting daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, organizing technical requirements, and measuring and reporting project metrics and lifecycle updates.

As a Senior in Technology Transformation Program Delivery, you will be at the forefront of driving and managing technology transformation projects and programs that align with our organizational strategy to achieve desired outcomes. You will provide assurance to leadership by managing timelines, costs, and quality, leading both technical and non-technical project teams in the development and implementation of technology solutions and/or infrastructure.

Your key responsibilities

You will focus on the evaluation, design, customization and optimization and delivery of data integration solutions. You will team with various EY groups with digital capabilities to pursue and deliver digital engagements and deliver solutions that will bring our client’s digital vision and strategy to life.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of one or more processes, solutions, and/or projects by delivering agreed activities and applying judgment. You will select appropriate methodologies to inform recommendations, considering success criteria, barriers, risks, and issues. You will be accountable for meeting your own targets which impact the immediate team and may help coordinate the work of junior colleagues or team members. You will also meet performance objectives and metrics set locally. Your time will be spent on:

  • Defining and executing deliverables.

  • Tracking deliverable completion and project status.

  • Regular travel as needed by external clients.

Skills and attributes for success

To thrive in this role, you will need a strong foundation in project and program delivery methods, including Agile and waterfall, and the ability to coach others on relevant processes, tools, techniques, and enabling technologies. You should be able to propose solutions to technical constraints and anticipate bottlenecks in the system development cycle. Additional skills include:

  • Decision-making based on broad policies and personal knowledge/experience.

  • Working on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree

  • Typically, no less than 2 - 4 years relevant experience

  • 3 or more years of significant experience within MES/manufacturing industry and extensive experience within the following:

  • Performing MES business requirements analysis and specifications.

  • System design, architecture, and design standards such as ISA-95 and ISA-88.

  • Application software configuration.

  • Development, testing, installation, start-up, and maintenance of MES software and supporting systems.

  • Support for MES platforms including but not limited to FactoryTalk PharmaSuite.

• Hands-on experience with the Rockwell FactoryTalk PharmaSuite.

• Experience designing, configuring, integrating, and testing / validating MES systems within GMP-regulated life science manufacturing environments.

• Prior experience providing design and configuration of computer system solutions in support of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Integrated Data Historian (Aveva PI), integration to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Quality Systems.

• Possess understanding of various methodologies and standards required for project controls.

• Significant experience working directly with business management stakeholders to understand, align, prioritize, and report out program objectives, deliverables, risks, and successes.

• Work closely with business management to understand use case requirements and report project KPI’s and metrics.

• Experience providing detailed and complex root-cause analysis (A3).

• Experience in preparing written reports and technical evaluations, functional specifications, technical documents, proposals and other assignments as required.

• Possess independent knowledge, skills and experience in computer programming, database design, and software configuration, with majority of skills successfully executed within one or more manufacturing industries.

• Must be able to demonstrate and communicate understanding of both manufacturing business process execution and computer systems architecture in multiple industries.

• Willingness to travel to meet client obligations.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Degree emphasis in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS, Mathematics desired; Master’s degree in one of these areas preferred

• Certifications and prior consulting experience highly preferred

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $101,500 to $186,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $121,700 to $211,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
