Xerox Business Solutions is seeking a self-motivated and experienced Senior Vice President of Sales for the US Central and Mid-West (“SVP of Sales”) to play a vital role in leading both regional sales teams. The SVP of Sales will be responsible for providing leadership to senior management and ensure the overall integrity and growth of this team. This individual will be responsible for and cover a territory that includes Western Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin. This individual must reside within the region(s) covered

The SVP of Sales, US Central & Mid-West reports to the President, US East & Central region.

Responsibilities for the Role :

  • Responsible for leadership, profitability, growth, and direction of all activity across the Central and Mid-West regions of the United States.

  • Work directly with sales leadership to provide regional updates and forecasting.

  • Identify new investment and development opportunities and leading the innovation and development of building go-to-market plans to achieve.

  • Provide leadership and support to senior management on the sales, operations, and logistics teams.

  • Lead implementation of industry specific sales and operations strategies.

  • Collaborate with functional teams to efficient delivery and eliminate potential barriers to achieve optimal sales team performance.

  • Oversight and management of multimillion-dollar P&L.

  • Drive market demand for Xerox offerings within the SMB, enterprise, and federal segments.

  • Motivate and lead a high-performance management team; attract, recruit, and retain required members of the region’s senior team not currently in place; provide mentoring as a cornerstone to team members’ career development.

  • Responsible for internal communications and presentations related to KPI’s, program updates and on-going program information.

  • Ensure the overall integrity and growth of the Central and Mid-West regions.

Candidate Profile :

The successful candidate will be an energetic, inspirational leader who has deep experience leading and managing a high-performing team that is geographically diverse. The region leader can successfully operate within a highly matrixed organization as a true team player, coach, and mentor to the team.

Key attributes include but are not limited to:

  • Over 15 years relevant experience in leadership role and customer-facing role.

  • Proven experience identifying and delivering on new opportunities and expanding existing relationships that will drive net new revenue on a regional scale.

  • Experience in technology sales is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding revenue expectations.

  • Experience managing a multimillion-dollar P&L and client portfolio.

  • Strong sales management skills and a demonstrated track record of developing others through coaching, mentoring, and training.

  • Strong communication skills including written, verbal and presentation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Masters’ degree preferred (MSc, MBA, etc.)

  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.

Position can be based anywhere within the Central or Mid-West region (Chicago preferred)
