The Training Specialist in Lenexa, Kansas will provide training to operators, to ensure products are manufactured in accordance with all applicable safety and quality guidance. Deliver department training programs to new and current employees. The Training Specialist will also evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback and encouragement. Along with developing and organizing training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
+ Increasing department productivity by providing continuous training of new and current manufacturing technicians
+ Develop testing and evaluation procedures to ensure training effectiveness
+ Evaluate program effectiveness by seeking trainees' feedback
+ Identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes, and other factors and assist with developing or modifying and improve existing programs
+ Analyze training needs and assist with developing new training programs or modify and improve existing programs
Who You Are:
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ 1+ years of related manufacturing experience
+ Demonstrate mechanical aptitude with process equipment or systems
+ Associate degree with 2+ years related maintenance experience
+ Previous training experience
+ Dry product processing and packaging experience
+ Ability to operate technology - video, Microsoft Office used for training purposes
+ Ability to communicate new and old concepts to adult learners and relay those concepts in an engaging and helpful way. Ability to clearly communicate and document trainee requirements
+ Ability to organize training in an engaging and practical way for learners' retention levels
+ Ability to adapt to trainees' method of learning
+ Ability to assessan employee's learning progress and provide constructive feedback
