Your Opportunity

EBSCO Information Services Clinical Decisions group is seeking a Vice President of Sales for Growth who will play a pivotal role in shaping the sales strategy and execution for the expansion and customer success of existing accounts.

What You'll Do

This position is responsible for driving unified sales and customer success processes, actions and priorities across the Clinical Decisions existing customer ecosystem to ensure the processes are scalable, straightforward and efficient. It is also responsible for driving the delivery of best-in-class customer service across the entire community during the commercial process and execution phase.

This position is designed for a senior leader who can provide oversight of the Clinical Decisions Growth sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for aligning the sales process to create consistency, governance, and scalability in the use of technology, data, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive efficient and effective revenue outcomes.

In this role, the VP will create and manage sales processes and tools to ensure consistency and effectiveness across various functions such as quota setting, pipeline forecasting, and territory planning. The position demands collaboration across sales, marketing, and customer success teams to adapt to an increasingly competitive environment. The successful candidate will align with corporate strategy to install and adopt processes and standards related to KPIs that measure the efficiencies and effectiveness of sales, marketing, and customer success operations. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. The VP will be expected to identify and implement best practices and industry standards for sales, driving a data-driven approach to enable teams and optimize processes that lead to revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage sales processes and tools to ensure consistency and effectiveness across quota setting, pipeline forecasting and territory planning.

• Work cross-functionally to align sales, marketing, and customer success teams around buyer and seller experiences.

• Collaborate with sales and business leadership to define and implement sales goals and targets, including the growth of existing business and renewals.

• Analyze sales data to identify trends, make recommendations, and implement action plans for improvement.

• Align with strategy to install and adopt processes and standards related to KPIs measuring sales, marketing, and customer success efficiencies and effectiveness.

• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make data-driven decisions based on KPIs.

• Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills to lead and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree such as an MBA is a plus.

• 10-15 years of experience in sales operations, including 3-4 years of senior management experience, with a track record of success in driving revenue growth and improving operational efficiency.

• Knowledge and experience with CRM, marketing automation, data/analytics/BI, sales enablement, and other technology platforms used in sales operations.

• Experience in B2B recurring revenue models

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in leading cross-functional teams in a healthcare technology-driven environment.

• Familiarity with advanced data analytics tools and methodologies.

• Proven ability to implement change management processes effectively.

Pay Range

USD $195,070.00 - USD $278,675.00 /Yr.

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location.
