JEO?s Water Resources Engineering Department provides expertise and services in Hydrologic and Hydraulic Analysis, Urban Drainage Evaluation and Design, Watershed Planning and Implementation, Levee Evaluation and Design, Dam Evaluation and Design, Floodplain Management, Water Quality Evaluation and Management, Hydrogeological Services, Hazard Mitigation and Emergency Planning, and Regulatory Coordination.
The Waste Resources Project Engineer:
Supports the Project Manager to implement projects that serve the complex water resource needs of municipalities and state agencies
Consults with clients to produce positive results and understands how to leverage a variety of project funding sources
Performs hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
Develops project plans and contract documents
Performs design and evaluation tasks
Ensures completeness of design related forms and reports
Collaborates with project team members and partners for project success
Qualified candidates are required to have:
Bachelor?s degree in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Kansas or ability to be registered
4+ years? experience working in the engineering industry on municipal water resources projects
