Crops: Soybeans, Grains, Corn, Sorghum, Barley, and Flax. Assist with custom harvest operation. Drive and control equipment to support agricultural activities such as tilling soil; planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops. Operate a variety of machinery, i.e. combines, grain carts, etc. Assist designated CDL Drivers with transport of produce from field and bin to elevator or storage area via semi-truck. Assist with hauling harvesting machines between work sites. Workers on this contract will not be driving semitrucks and will only assist in the loading and unloading of trucks. Service and clean machinery, and make in-field repairs. Workers who possess a valid drivers license and meet all applicable legal requirements, including holding a doctors certificate as required by 29 CFR 500.105, may be asked to drive vehicles for transporting workers, goods, or commodities on company business. This task is voluntary, compensable, and not a mandatory job duty. Workers without a valid drivers license or doctors certificate will still be fully eligible for employment and are not disqualified from any other job responsibilities outlined in this application. The employer can and will make alternative arrangements for the transportation of workers should the need arise.
Housing is provided. Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is also offered. Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day.
