In this role you will be involved with everything from managing daily operations to taking responsibility for financial results. You will be required to set high standards for your store and ensure that your store consistently performs inline with sales and profitability targets. You will be a hands on leader, rolling your sleeves up, getting involved with food preparation, serving customers and ensuring the store is clean, hygienic and welcoming. You will also ensure your teams have the tools they need to succeed, receive the best quality training and are given every opportunity to develop within the business.
• Coach, mentor, motivate and support colleagues• Recruit new colleagues for your team in line with HR procedures• Train and develop colleagues and ensure all members of the team feel welcomed and part of the family• Prepare the rota in line with labor % and store budget hours• Ensure colleagues are promoting and upselling promotional offers• Develop and maintain positive relationships with your team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs, and concerns• Manage grievance and disciplinary cases in line with company policy and under the guidance of HR• Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishment

Getting the Job Done:
• Ensure compliance in accordance with Burger King operating procedures to ensure successful storeevaluations• Perform inventory management and stock control including weekly stock take and reports• Work to constantly drive down waste and inefficiency, reviewing and adapting processes and procedures toimprove efficiency and maximize output• Check merchandising standards including stock levels, presentation and price labeling• Check temperature records are being recorded and are in line with food safety standards• Ensure Health & Safety, Food Safety and also hygiene procedures & standards are maintained and followedaccordingly by all colleagues• Manage cash variances and wastage making appropriate investigations and taking follow up action where required.• While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and be able to lift 25lbs – 50lbs but could be more based on the job location.• While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and be able to lift 25lbs – 50lbs but could be more based on the job location.
Banking & Finance:
• Complete cashing/banking summaries and reports and perform the relevant checks• Deal with any theft incidents promptly following the correct HR procedures• Prepare, analyse and report on budgets and expenditure• Monitor waste and labor costs with accurate records ensuring that actions plans are implementedto meet and maintain targetsRequirements
Minimum Position Qualifications: 3+ years of experience working as an Assistant Manager in a restaurant/food service setting and/or has successfully completed the required Training program.High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Ability to travel independently.The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs but could be more based on the job location.Ensure restaurant is properly staffed at all times.Own reliable source of transportation and communication to facilitate operation.Must be able to perform essential job functions as required, with minimal supervision.Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; completes performance reviews and provides feedback to direct reports.
