JOB SUMMARY:

Support engineering processes and assist users in executing standard practices. Responsible or the evaluation, development and implementation of process improvements. Aid in the development of IT requirements for new/improved processes. Participate in the testing of IT coding of software rollouts or improvements. Provide users support in using CATIA, ENOVIA, and other software and hardware systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize CATIA, ENOVIA and other software to provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to Engineering processes.

  • Write or update procedural Tip Sheets

  • Participate in cross functional teams to understand and gather business requirements for new or updated processes

  • Supports the communication of priority for process improvements.

  • Assist with the transformation of business requirements into IT requirements.

  • Assists in development plans which incorporated features and functions into future systems by analyzing requirements to increase user productivity and personal understanding of the overall system.

  • Participates in user testing of new releases and version systems software by testing specific areas of the system, reporting and recording problems encountered.

  • Aid the development of new or improved processes through software testing at different intervals of software development.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Product Lifecycle Management, or other relative field.

  • Less than 2 years of professional experience in a relevant role

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Professional and diplomatic demeanor

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Collaborates and easily gets along in team-based environments

  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office

  • CAD Experience (CATIA and ENOVIA knowledge is a plus)

  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time
