JOB SUMMARY:

The Facilities Coordinator will work closely with the Facilities team in a variety of activities necessary to manage and maintain buildings/infrastructure, leased properties, vehicle fleets, capital equipment, office space, and utilities/energy. The Coordinator will serve as a point of contact for internal and external customers seeking support and information from the Facilities organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for all aspects of personnel facility relocations including office space planning and project management of associated relocation projects. Coordinates and schedules the timing of all moves of personnel, furniture and other items and works directly with IT, furniture installers and various vendors to successfully complete each move.

  • Coordinates contractors to manage small project facility renovations & repairs. Develops and provides associated project budgets, project schedules, and project status.

  • Responsible for administration of company fleet vehicle program.

  • Responsible for processing purchase orders and payments in support of facilities projects, office space relocations, lease payments, and other projects as needed.

  • Assists with tracking and status updates related to audit and compliance activities with corporate insurance carrier.

  • Supports energy conservation projects and efforts.

  • Organizes and maintains department's central Facility files and information.

  • Creates, maintains, and updates departmental procedures and standard work documentation.

  • Works in a self-directed manner across business functions and campuses. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with a broad spectrum of internal customers across the business unit.

  • Takes on project management responsibility or administrative functions within the organization as assigned and performs other work involving Support Services administration as needed.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree required in business, engineering, or other related function.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to obtain a valid driver's license to support equipment and manufacturing processes across all campuses required.

  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate professionally, both verbally and in written form with internal and external customers and across all levels throughout the organization.

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.

  • Demonstrated customer service excellence and high attention to detail.

  • Strong organization skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Access, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
