Overview
Flight begins at Spirit AeroSystems, where our products are taking off somewhere around the world every minute of every day. We design and build large structural parts for the world’s premier commercial aircraft (think Boeing and Airbus), as well as top Defense and other cutting-edge programs.

Here are some examples of what you can expect as an Information Technology Intern:
Have a well-defined project with clear deliverables that will develop your knowledge and skills in analytic and predictive analysis, IT governance processes, functional analysis, or software feature development.
Gain Hands on Experience with
Leadership development.
Application development and support - SAP, Tableau, C++, .NET, Java, JavaScript, Web Services, HTML, MS PowerApps, MS Power BI, SQL and Oracle databases.
Enterprise Network & System Environments like Cisco/Aruba, Cisco Nexus Data Center switches, Ivanti, and Microsoft Suite.
Project Management.
Regulatory & Audit Compliance – SOX, Department of Defense, NIST, JSIG, CMMC.
Engage with IT service providers, managing scope of deliveries or sourcing projects.
Be assigned a mentor yet have the autonomy to develop your innovative solution.
Opportunity to receive a Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Network with executive leaders across the company.
Develop your critical thinking, statistics, interpersonal, presentation, project management and teamwork skills.

Qualifications
Requirements:
You must be a US Person (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident)
You must be enrolled full time in a university degree program aligned to the area of internship.
You must be a current sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student in good academic standing.
