Aerotek 2nd Shift Lab Analyst in Wichita, Kansas
Receiving and processing oil samples to analyze, make determination, and report the data to the appropriate recipients.
Analyze daily samples with in a 24-hour period (in coordination with other shifts).
Consumable inventory and stocking. Maintenance and cleaning of lab, and lab equipment.
Procedural preparation of chemical solutions and standards.
Set up and conduct tests utilizing Gas Chromatography, ICP Mass Spectrometry, and/or by chemical and physical techniques.
Frequent use of computer software (Outlook, Excel, TC Navigator, Win Lab, etc)
Verbal and electronic communication of test results to appropriate parties.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and waste buckets are dumped each shift
Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday
Training will on first shift 7a-330p for the first 2-4 weeks
Tools and Software:
This role will utilize these tools and software but will be trained on the job if no prior knowledge: spectrometry, chromatography, excel, analysis, win lab, tc navigator
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma with 2 years of experience, Associates or higher degree is preferred
2 years of data entry/review experience is ideal
