Aerotek 90k CNC Lead Service Technician 50% Travel in Wichita, Kansas

Client pays very generously with competitive pay rates in the market. The position is based out of Wichita, KS. Job Description:
• Travel to customer's facility to provide installation, troubleshooting maintenance and repair support on a variety of Modig equipment
• Provide comprehensive in-person and/or remote training to our customers
• Utilize machine tool manuals, technical documents, internal and vendor resources to research machine issues
• Ensure proper documentation regarding machine issues, repairs, and installation; the Field Service Engineer will provide detailed feedback to management, distributors, and customers
• Possess and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry, and all required information to support your role
Qualifications:
• A qualified candidate would have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in mechanical and electrical repair, maintenance, and programming within the Machine tool industry
• 5+ years of CNC controls and maintenance experience
• Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills as well as the ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics are required
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are required
• Experience with FANUC, Heidenheim, Linear Lasers, and Laser Tracker is required
• Experience in large CNC 5 axis gantries required
• Consistent travel is required
Willingness to travel:
• Customer sites are throughout the U.S.
• Some international travel is required for training
Shift:
Monday – Friday 7:00am – 4:30pm Traveling 50-70% of the time
