We are currently seeking an Account Recovery Manager to join our team in Wichita, KS. The Account Recovery Manager is responsible for consumer loan management, process management, and leadership.

Essential functions of the role:
Consumer Loan Management
Manage/oversee recovery activity for day-to-day Retail, Mortgage and Small/Micro-business loan/deposit accounts including past dues, loan collateral positions, defaults, and repossession of collateral
Develop and implement processes and procedures that govern delinquent consumer credits to ensure compliance with established regulations
Deliver exceptional customer service that builds trust through expertise, responsive service, and support
Oversee/assist with implementation of delinquency monitoring and support systems for Bank’s Embedded Banking Services
Understand legal principals, concepts, and methodology of legal proceedings
Understand customer needs to guide plans of action and specific resolutions related to payments and overall collections strategies that reflect the best interests of the customer
Make recommendations regarding collection strategy decisions in the Retail and Small Business loan portfolios
Use negotiation and interpersonal skills to maximize collections efforts while adhering to all applicable guidelines, requirements, and regulations
Determine and make non‐accrual and charge‐off recommendations where appropriate
Monitor bankruptcy filings
Coordinate collection activities with third parties as necessary
Process Management
Review current processes for efficiency and effectiveness on an ongoing basis
Develop standard operating procedures to ensure consistency in processes and minimize risk
Collaborate across functions to seek innovative process improvements that support the collections process
Ensure regulatory compliance and stay abreast of industry best practices
Review and test the department Business Continuity Plan
Prepare trend reports for senior management
Leadership
Communicate expectations, define goals, coach and develop, recognize successes and evaluate performance and behavior of associates
Encourage a work environment that supports continuous improvement and motivates employees to achieve goals
Provide regular and timely coaching of associates on their performance.
Develop a proficient and resourceful staff
Act as the primary liaison and point of communication for customers, Emprise associates, other banks, attorneys, and vendors involving consumer and small business collections processes, services and solutions
Troubleshoot problems and offer resolution as needed
Other duties as assigned within the scope and responsibility of the job
Requirements
Two-year college degree required
Three to five years of lending, loan, collection, and work‐out experience required or level of education that, together with industry experience, enables the applicant to meet the job requirements
Management experience required
Proficiency with large server-based applications and typical desktop software
