Directs activities of manufacturing engineers in developing new technologies and equipment that keep Johnson Controls on the forefront of manufacturing excellence.
Directs activities of manufacturing engineers in developing labor standards, work instructions, operational method sheets, SAP documentation and product costing
Manages and implements an annual site capital budget
Key member of new product introductions and product design changes, and how those changes affect the manufacturing process.
Prepares plant capacity and capital equipment planning, including future site layout requirements
Directs strategic plan initiatives involving production, materials, quality, and design engineering personnel.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization\'s policies and applicable laws to include but not limited to interviewing, hiring, and developing employees.
