Aerotek Aircraft Inspector in Wichita, Kansas
Description:
Perform visual inspection and documentation for production of structural assemblies for commercial aircraft
Inspect fuselage, wings, flaps, and tail assemblies
Inspect holes, fasteners, gaps/shims, surface seals, and paint for accuracy, tolerance, and general workmanship
Document all findings/reports on a company-provided tablet
Candidates will have to do some climbing and crawling throughout the aircraft
Other duties may be assigned
Desired Experience:
2+ years of aircraft maintenance/production experience
Any experience with visual inspection
Pay:
$30/hr + mileage reimbursement for your drive to/from work
Mileage is paid out at $0.67 per mile
Work Schedule:
Must be open to 2nd Shift (2pm-10:30pm) or 3rd Shift (10pm-6:30am)
You will be assigned to 1 mandatory day of OT every other weekend
If you do not want to work on the weekends, you can trade your weekend shift with other coworkers
If you cannot get someone to trade with you, you will have to show up for your mandatory day of OT
Placement:
- 1+ year Contract, with ability to go direct around the 6-month mark
