We're looking for an Operations Supervisor (Aircraft Maintenance, 2nd Shift) to join our team in Wichita, Kansas. This role will be integral to ensuring that our aircraft maintenance operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently while fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
What You’ll Be Doing
As the Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the aircraft maintenance department, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality in everything we do. Your responsibilities will include:
Supervising and managing aircraft maintenance personnel, ensuring they meet operational and quality standards.
Promoting and maintaining a safe work environment in accordance with safety and security programs.
Coordinating daily meetings and performing supervisory duties such as performance management, timekeeping, and hiring.
Ensuring that maintenance work is performed in compliance with Repair Station/Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) .
Monitoring housing and facilities safety, reporting any deficiencies.
Engaging with customers on maintenance issues when needed.
Implementing best practices and driving continuous improvement in our processes.
Managing data reporting to monitor labor efficiency in relation to work orders.
Who You Are
To succeed in this role, you bring a strong background in aircraft maintenance, leadership, and a passion for developing people. The ideal candidate will have:
Required Qualifications :
3+ years of experience in aircraft heavy/line maintenance and inspection.
Proven leadership experience ; Aircraft Maintenance leadership is preferred.
A&P Certificate or certification under FAR (part 65) .
Knowledge of aircraft inspection systems and procedures .
Familiarity with Environmental, Health & Safety rules and regulations .
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Exceptional leadership and coaching abilities , with a track record of developing teams.
Strong organizational and planning skills .
Proficiency in computer systems for data management and reporting.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
