The AOG Technician role at Yingling Aviation involves maintaining, repairing, and return to service aircraft to ensure they are in safe working condition. This position is crucial for providing rapid, on-site assistance to aircraft that are grounded due to technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient resolution of maintenance problems.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on avionics systems and components per manufacturer and regulatory standards.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 100% of the time, including overnight stays and international trips if required.
- Respond to urgent maintenance requests as needed.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of avionics equipment to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
- Coordinating with other maintenance personnel and departments to ensure timely and effective service.
- Maintaining detailed records of work performed and parts used.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Stay current with industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory changes related to avionics systems.
