Job Title: Architectural/MEP Drafter
Job Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for laying out and producing technical drawings and 3D models for commercial and industrial projects using AutoCAD and Revit programs
Produce accurate and detailed architectural/engineering drafts
Incorporate red line changes in existing drawings
Upload models and follow the BIM Coordination process through to final signoff
Collaborate with customers, engineers and project stakeholders
Other miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor
Job Qualifications:
Proven drafting experience using 3D modeling software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks)
Must have a strong understanding of industry standards and codes
Must have a strong attention to detail and eye for continuity
Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy is a must
A strong understanding of MEP systems is highly preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
5-7 years’ experience in drafting large scope commercial/civil construction projects.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture
Additional drafting certifications is preferred, but not required
